De band met de smakelijke naam The Royal Croquettes trapt het nieuwe jaar af bij Sgt. Pepper’s Jazz-Club. Voor hen en voor ons de eerste keer. De band is een swingband die in 2019 werd opgericht aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag en gespecialiseerd is in traditionele jazz- en swingmuziek. De band houdt ervan te spelen in de stijl van de grote legenden, zoals Louis Amstrong of Duke Ellington en … dat er wordt gedanst. De band streeft er naar de muziek een moderne wending te geven met behoud van de essentie van het pre-bepop-tijdperk.
The band with the tasty name The Royal Croquettes kicks off the new year with Sgt. Pepper's Jazz Club. The first time for them and for us. The band is a swing band that was founded in 2019 at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and specializes in traditional jazz and swing music. The band likes to play in the style of the great legends, such as Louis Armstrong or Duke Ellington and... to dance. The band strives to give the music a modern twist while retaining the essence of the pre-bepop era.
