On July 21, the Varanasi Court ordered the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to conduct a "scientific survey" of the entire Gyanvapi Mosque premises, except for the sealed Wazu tank. Vishnu Shankar Jain, representing the Hindu side in the case, revealed that the court approved their application for the survey, expecting it to be completed within 3 to 6 months. Advocate Subhash Nandan Chaturvedi, also representing the Hindu side, called it a turning point in the Gyanvapi case. The ASI survey is seen as a significant development in the ongoing dispute concerning the Gyanvapi Mosque in Varanasi.
