In this video we will take you to great heritage city of Barsur of Bastar Chhattisgarh. It was capital city of Nagvanshi rulers in 11 th century AD. There were 147 lakes and 147 temples at that time. It was then called city of lakes. With many temples still standing as Battisa, Mama Bhanja and Twin Ganesha ( it is one of biggest single stone idol in the world) Barsur is truly great heritage town of India. All temples are true architectural Marvels, especially the Battisa temple which has a rotating Rock shivling" and stands on 32 pillars of stone.

Barsur is in Dantewada district of Bastar Chhattisgarh and is at a distance of approximately 400 km from Raipur.

We stayed in a very interesting tribal Homestay on the banks of River Indrawati, and also visited sunset point and saatdhara waterfalls .This video showcases this interesting trip, do watch till the end you would love the sunset at Barsur.
