Watch out: 3 misleading claims gone viral amidst Anant Ambani's pre wedding bash at Jamnagar | FC

Описание: The extravagant pre-wedding celebration of Anant Ambani, the youngest scion of the Ambani family, spanned three days from March 1 to 3 in Gujarat's Jamnagar. In this context, a several old and unrelated videos are being shared online claiming to be from the pre-wedding celebrations.


The first video was that of an Aarti performance ,accompanied by claims that it was organised by the Ambanis as part of Anand’s pre-wedding celebration, and they orchestrated the Khans of Bollywood to participate in the Aarti. NewsMeter found that the claim is false, as the video is from Isha Ambani's pre-wedding celebrations, during which the Ambani family organised a Maha Aarti in Udaipur ahead of the function.  it is also noteworthy that none of the videos from the Aarti featured the Bollywood Khans


The second video shows a giant three-tiered castle-themed cake with the claim that it shows the biggest cake being presented at Anant Ambani’s Pre-wedding celebrations.

 NewsMeter found that the video has been on the internet since as early as June 2023 and hence predates Anant Ambani's pre-wedding celebrations.

The third video shows a WhatsApp forward that claims a 3-month free jio recharge giveaway ahead of Anant Ambani’s  wedding that is to be held on the on 12th July. Our investigation found that the viral message is fake. The URL along the message leads to a scam website collecting the personal data of visitors.
