A little behind-the-scenes of the logistics of taking care of the girl room! Lots of care, cleaning, and monitoring goes into maintaining the cat rooms, and this video shows what it looks like before I do everyday maintenance (warning: cat poop ahead!).
The Girl Room is one of the main spaces in The House With The Net, my project to close out a 50-cat feral colony by Spring. Morning checks are a critical part of keeping everyone safe, healthy, and calm, and they offer a real look at what large-scale, one-person cat care actually involves.
