ethan 9 year old playing a UTR 11 in a last minute tournament with a goal of winning one game

Описание: i have to say that ethan continues to surprise me with his tennis with the minimum practice he does. he's been taking it even more easy with tennis in the past few weeks since i was busy and traveling and also because he tanked in his last tournament despite having many leads. however, i'm learning myself that he's only 9 years old and taking the break from tennis is good for me and i guess for him as well. however, his strokes changed so we've been working on getting his technique back in shape. it's crazy how a slight change in his stroke can change his shot so we've been finding ways to get his strokes back.

ethan's getting back into the swing of things and it's been good how he's been listening to me a bit more. of course Pokemon has been helping quite a bit but hey, he wants to become the best so he's putting in some more work. having sat out of tournaments for the past 3 weeks, i came across a men's tournament the night before and luckily he was able to enter in. his first round match was against a UTR 11, the highest he's played against so far. take it he's 9 years old but doesn't shy away from a challenge.

let's just say that even though he got double bagel, he took this player who is a UTR 11 to 3 deuces and had 2 game points, with a forehand that's not his best as we're fixing his stroke. his initial goal was to just win a point which i told him wouldn't be a problem as i was pretty sure that this player would double fault at least once (by the way, he double faulted once), LOL.

he accomplished his goal of just leaving the match a much better player by not giving up and having a great attitude throughout. mission accomplished!!!!!
