This scholarly research is presented by Walden University graduate, Dr. James J. Williams who retired at the rank of Chief Warrant Officer Five with a distinguished career of 31 years in the Army/Army Reserve. It is moderated by Dr. Gary Kelsey who is Walden's core faculty member and Dissertation Residency Coordinator.
In his research, Dr. Williams pays homage to the Army Warrant Officer Corps, but specifically to the contributions made by African American men who ascended to the highest rank of senior field grade officer (CW5) as their experiences were captured in this qualitative research study.
