Hi guys! Welcome to the first installment of my Seoul travel VLOGs. 😊 In this video we go through everything I did on the first day exploring the city.

I hope you guys find this Seoul one-day itinerary helpful, as I've done my best to curate it to my tastes and found it to be juuust right.

We start the day by heading to Hongdae/Yeonnnam to check out two cafes and go shopping. The cafes we visited were:
📍Cafe Layered Yeonnam
📍Bradys Coffeebar.

I recommend going on a weekday and being there right as it opens to avoid waiting in line and having the place to yourself for photos and videos!

Next, for shopping in Hongdae, these are the stores we visited:
📍Made By (a stationary store)
📍Another Awesome (K-idol/K-pop fashion-inspired clothing)
📍L'aro (and the store right next to it)
📍Lune Seoul
📍OAT
📍IamJoy
📍Abereu House (Aver House)
📍Sigonggan
📍Miromiro

Some places we didn't have time to check out but will do so next time:
📍Butter (stationary)
📍Object (stationary)
📍Market A (apparel)

After we finished shopping around Hongdae we moved over to Myeongdong and had a late lunch at 📍Myeongdong Kyoja, a Michelin-star restaurant that serves Kalguksu (Korean noodle dish) with Kyoja (steamed dumplings) and it didn't disappoint. You have to pay before you eat and it made the process much smoother and faster. Following our late lunch we blacked out at 📍Olive Young Myeongdong Flagship Store and hoarded a few skincare items (see my future haul vid winkwink).

Since we had a bit of time to kill we dropped off our bags at our hotel The Summit Dongdaemun which I HIGHLY recommend as it's in the middle of everything and connected to several train lines!

For our afternoon-evening plans we went to Itaewon/Hannamdong. We had the BEST donuts at
📍Old Ferry Donut 올드페리도넛, if you haven't tried it then you simply must on your next trip to Seoul.

Bopped around and bought a few things from
📍NonFiction (scents and bodycare)
📍MARITHÉ FRANÇOIS GIRBAUD (apparel brand)

Then had the best Korean set meal for dinner at 📍Parc Seoul (reserve in advance!)

Since we still had some energy left we hopped back on the bus and headed toward the more central Dongdaemun area and shopped at 📍Nyunyu (a 3-floor accessory store).
