A day in the life, working in the sound team on Beetlejuice Australia as the Radio Mic Technician, time stamped!
This day was a double show Sunday.
These days can be the most fun of the week as everyone uses chaos to push us through to the end of the week. Our schedule here in Australia for a weekend includes a friday night show, a saturday matinee, a saturday night show, a sunday matinee and a sunday night show. The turn around between the end of saturday night and the beginning of our shift for the sunday matinee is the shortest of the week, so it can be a bit of a slog.

✨ I am a live Entertainment Tech working in Australian Theatre, Cabaret, Music, Burlesque, Circus and Comedy.
In the last few years I have worked on Hamilton Australia, Phantom of the Opera outdoors on Sydney Harbour (HOSH), Come From Away Australia, Mary Poppins Australia, Phantom of the Opera Australia, and Tina the Tina Turner Musical Australia while freelancing all over the country. Currently I am the Radio Mic Technician in the Original Australian company of Beetlejuice the Musical.
