Essentially, Tier 3 asks you to adapt your ship's loadout to new modifiers, whereas Tier 4 demands absolute min-maxed perfection and flawless execution just to survive the encounters.

For the vast majority of captains, sticking to World Tier 3 is the most efficient and enjoyable way to experience the endgame without burning out. The risk-versus-reward ratio heavily favors Tier 3; you still gain access to crucial endgame farming materials like Nightshade Pearls, Deep Iron, and Mythic Ascended Equipment drops from Domains, but with significantly less frustration. In World Tier 4, the time-to-kill on Rank 33 Mythic Bosses and the sheer chaos of five-affix enemy fleets often make farming tedious rather than genuinely rewarding. Unless you have a fully optimized Galleon build and a highly coordinated fleet of friends ready to sweat it out, World Tier 3 offers a much more stable, manageable progression loop for grinding out your Seasonal Mastery tree.
