The Gantrisch Via Ferrata is an exciting alpine climb in the Naturpark Gantrisch, located in the Bernese Alps of Switzerland.
This route, rated KS4 (difficult) on the Swiss via ferrata scale, leads adventurers directly to the summit of Gantrisch (2176 m) — a distinctive peak with panoramic views over the Alps and Mittelland.
The tour usually starts at Gurnigel Pass, following a hiking trail toward Leiterenpass, where the secured ferrata begins. The ascent offers a great mix of vertical climbing, exposed sections, and steady alpine atmosphere.
Descent follows the regular marked hiking route (T3).
