Imagine waiting for new ayat like people wait for new iPhone releases. Every day, every week—miraculous signs coming down from Allah. Then one day, it stopped.

After the conquest of Makkah, Surah An-Nasr was revealed. Everyone saw victory and gratitude. But a young boy saw death—"This means the Prophet's ﷺ time is near." At the end of every act of worship, Allah asks for forgiveness. This surah was asking for forgiveness. The job was done.

Nine days later, the final ayah came: "Be cautious of a day you're returning to Allah." Then silence. The Prophet ﷺ passed away. Umar denied it. Abu Bakr kissed his forehead and said: "Whoever worshiped Muhammad, he has died. Whoever worships Allah, He is alive and never dies."
