Best Organic Toddler Pillow Review: Calla Toddler Pillow

In this short video, I cover the different kinds of Hypoallergenic filling. I don't cover the organic cotton sateen casing in this video.

There are several different kinds of hypoallergenic pillows. We chose to make one that has an organic cotton casing and a hypoallergenic, polyester cluster fiber filling.

When it comes to the filling, I demonstrate what you'll find in most toddler pillows and what you'll find in the Calla Toddler Pillow.

There's the standard polyester fiber that is found in most pillows. It's what most run of the mill pillow companies use. It is long and stringy. It's not a bad fill. But it's not a very good fill for toddler pillows. That's because when you wash a traditional poly-fiber filled pillow, it will clump up a little bit. If you've washed a pillow before and had less than desirable results (even though the instructions said you could wash it) - they were using this type of filling.

Instead, you want a pillow with a polyester cluster fiber because when you wash and dry the pillow it returns to it's original shape and size. Because it's already clustered and not stringy - it holds up much better when you wash it.
