In this installment of oral histories for NCPTT's Documentation of Slave Cabin and Tenant Farming Houses Project, we sit and talk with Jo Banner. Ms. Banner has ancestors dating back hundreds of years from the surrounding Wallace area. She goes on to tell us of this history, her heritage, and the impact it has on her outlook of life. Culture within the family and community played a large role in her upbringing as she tells us tales of folklore passed along to her from previous generations.
