There were a lot of great scenes in Part Two. I had been waiting to see them in greater numbers like the end battle. The new side mount gun felt very real and analog. (The Dune universe's balance between projectile, hand-to-hand, and laser weapons is so good because of how authentic it makes the world feel, and really it's what shapes the world to what it is.) The hulk variant of the Harkonnen thopter was a cool addition to the fleet. The Atraties version was absent in this film, which I missed. The Harkonnen design is less sharp and modern, more orgainc/round, which I like less. It's a shame they won't be in the next film, or most likely.
