Galápagos, a deep connection with preserved biodiversity

Описание: I had been warned and had prepared myself for what is often called the « Galápagos experience ». Yet, nothing can truly prepare you for it. The journey, long and complex, only heightens the feeling of entering a world apart. Then comes the first dive at Wolf Island, and in that moment, you fully grasp the meaning of the word sanctuary. Life is everywhere, teeming, in all shapes and sizes.

The species, many of them endemic, contribute to this sense of uniqueness. Galápagos sharks, marine iguanas, endemic birds, and giant tortoises... Each encounter is extraordinary, adding depth to this unparalleled experience.

Now, back to reality, I am left with a strong conviction: we humans still have the power to preserve places like the Galápagos. Since 1992, these islands have been protected, proving that bold decisions can make a difference. It’s up to us to act and make the right choices to save what can still be saved.
