How to cut threads 6mm arc 5/8-24 barrel (muzzle) threading

I'm cutting a 5/8-24 tip thread on a Hart #5 416 stainless steel barrel. The movement in my lathe is something I have to live with. don't have concrete floors. I doubled the thickness of my floors for the machinery weight but when the 4 jaw is being used a slight out of balance can show up and rocks the lathe little bit. it appears worse then it actually is. doesn't effect accuracy.
