I don't know of any emulators that run these games in TurboExpress mode so here they are running on legit hardware. Might help clarify what some of the music tracks were used for. Neither consoles are modified, so yes, the different regional versions of both the consoles and the games are cross-compatible.
Audio is only being recorded from the left console. (Sound doesn't work on the right one). I went for seeing what a win, loss, draw and timeout looked like for when each player is hosting. One big takeaway for me is that there is no kick in '93 in this mode, even though that game introduced that powerup for both the campaign and the battle mode.
