At the time of this video, I was on my travels and historic conquests! You can say that I did, of course, research various places in the city, the surrounding cities of Bossier/ Shreveport, and there is a lot of history in North Louisiana! I was quite surprised!
Plain Dealing is a very small town that is wholly based upon community at this point! The once wealthy 5,000 acres that brought people to it, is now poverty stricken! This city is below the poverty line of the state as a whole! In small towns like this, there are no children who stay around! Lots move immediately to find a better life! Take a tour with me through the city and look at what it looks like and what it offers.
