i haven't taken the time in previous videos to explain what linked lists actually are, so today we're using mario, luigi, and bowser to understand the logic before diving into the c code.
what we're building:
list_create() to initialize our list.
push_back() to add elements to the end.
push_front() to add elements to the beginning.
