For those of you who think this boss is too hard (or you have to grind to level 30)......... here is one way I found to take him down...... and i took 0 damage.
Normal levels (23/23/19/24), no rare drops, no seed hunting/farming, 1 monster team and no hacking or save editing. It is a perfect win........ no damage taken to my characters, no casualties to my monster team, and a 1 turn kill of one of the most difficult bosses in the game.
The full team 100 tension is NOT a hack or insane luck........ I'm simply exploiting the fact that your first attempt at 100 tension (once its unlocked) will always work. By having my whole team try for 100 tension at the same time, all of them are guarenteed to reach it.
