According to Vergil Ortiz's manager, Rick Mirigian, the Executives at DAZN are forcing Golden Boy Promotions and Vergil Ortiz's team to make this Boots Ennis fight.

Rick says, and I quote: Based on public comments by Network Execs at DAZN, the network is attempting to impose and force both the fighter and promoter to do what they say, and that's it-end quote.

Based on the tonality of Rick Mirigian's message, he's not too thrilled about it. The crazy part is this: Rick doesn't put the money up for Vergil's fights; DAZN does.

DAZN provides Golden Boy Promotions with a budget, and they pay the fighters with the money they've received from DAZN. There's a lot I can say about this subject, but I would rather talk to the people to see what you have to say.
