In late 2005, it was announced that screenwriter Adam Sztykiel would be penning the family comedy Nerd Camp for Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies, with Brian Robbins and Mike Tollin producing. Based on the New Yorker article of the same name by Burkhard Bilger, the film's story concerns a group of youths who take college-level courses at a summer program for gifted children and redefine what it means to be cool. Follow me and ponder the question, "What if...?"
