It's been a crazy year for IEM, new release everyday. It is the joy for hobbyist like us.
I have purchased iem from 20 dollar range up to 2500 dollar. And I choose Penon Serial as my best purchase. Aside from the poor packaging and meh cable, the shell design and the sound just amazed me every time.
In short, very smooth, RICH, natural, velvet, silky sounding IEM. One of the better bass out there, period. Lacks a bit of treble bite and details, but I'm okay as it is. If Penon Serial have the upper midrange of Tanchjim Oxygen, it can easily wreck all the competitors and crowned itself the BEST iem at its price point.
