How far have we come in terms of food safety? In this video we look back on our 100-year journey through the history of food safety in New South Wales. From the NSW Public Health Act of 1896 to the NSW Food Act of 2003, we celebrate the achievements and the people involved in creating the food safety standards we enjoy today.
From the early public health regulations to the advancements in food technology, we have come a long way in ensuring high quality food and drink standards and safety across NSW.
We celebrate the remarkable achievements of the NSW Food Authority since its establishment in 2004.
