2 Corinthians 5:7 AMP || “for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]—”

Don’t allow what you see with your physical eyes keep you from moving forward and stepping into all that God has in store for you. Our circumstances, what we see with our eyes, should not be the basis for our faith.

Walking by faith and not by sight means that what you see, your circumstances, your situation, what you’re going through; does not determine whether you move or not. Despite what it may look like, you still choose to move, to keep believing, because of the one who promised you.

When Peter was walking on water, he had nothing to worry about as long as he kept his eyes on Jesus. The moment he took his eyes off Jesus and focused on the storm around him, he started to sink. He gave up before he could get to Jesus because his focus was on the wrong thing.

What you focus your eyes on plays a massive role in how much faith you have (what we focus on impacts our faith).
Keep your eyes on Jesus, FIX your eyes on Jesus.
