The Pete Cornish CC-1 is a low to mid gain overdrive that uses two fixed gain stages to give it a more dynamic response. While I love the way it sounds, it's simply huge and not the most pedal board friendly. This got me thinking, there are plenty of dual overdrive pedals that could do a similar thing in a smaller package, and what if the one that sounds most like it happens to also be way more versatile and have midi capabilities?
