Five Precepts

Pāṇātipātā veramaṇī sikkhāpadaṃ samādiyāmi
Adinnādānā veramaṇī sikkhāpadaṃ samādiyāmi
Kāmesumicchācāra veramaṇī sikkhāpadaṃ samādiyāmi
Musāvādā veramaṇī sikkhāpadaṃ samādiyāmi
Surāmerayamajjapamādaṭṭhānā veramaṇī sikkhāpadaṃ samādiyāmi

I undertake the practice of give up from destruction of life or killing.
I undertake the practice of give up from taking something that is not given or stealing.
I undertake the practice of give up from wrong way of sexual conduct.
I undertake the practice of give up from talking falsely or lying.
I undertake the practice of give up from taking addicting alcoholic, and intoxicant things that cause sloppiness.
