KitchenAid® Bowl Lift Stand Mixer: Simple Assembly Guide

Attaching a Bowl to Your Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer:

1. Turn off your bowl-lift stand mixer by sliding the control knob to the OFF setting.
2. Unplug the power cord or make sure the power supply to the stand mixer is off.
3. Lower the bowl-lift lever into the down position.
4. Fit the support arms onto the locating pins.
5. Push down gently on the back of the bowl lip until you hear a “snap”.

Raising and Lowering the Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer Bowl:

1. Rotate the handle upward to raise the stand mixer bowl.
2. Rotate back down to lower the bowl.
3. Remember that the bowl must be raised and locked when mixing.

Detaching a Bowl from Your Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer:

1. Turn off your bowl-lift stand mixer by sliding the control knob to the OFF setting.
2. Unplug the power cord or make sure the power supply to the stand mixer is off.
3. Lower the bowl-lift lever into the down position.
4. Remove the flat beater or other bowl-lift stand mixer attachment in use.
5. Grasp the bowl handles and lift the bowl straight up and off its locating pins.

Attaching and Detaching Beater Accessories:

1. Turn off your bowl-lift stand mixer by sliding the control knob to the OFF setting.
2. Unplug the power cord or make sure the power supply to the stand mixer is off.
3. Press the beater or other attachment upwards into the shift and turn it to the right to secure it to the pin within the shaft.
4. With the power off, lift the beater or other attachment and turn it to the left in order to release and remove it.
