Snakes are amazing creatures that deserve much more respect than we give them. I love going out and looking for and photographing snakes in the wild, so I wanted to make some videos to teach others how to find these beautiful creatures as well.

Hiking Habitat is typically one of the most difficult and time consuming ways to look for snakes, however, it has some benefits. You get to enjoy a wider perspective of habitat and often see interesting things along the way. You get some good exercise and when you do find a snake, it is very rewarding and exciting. By searching in certain places (along water/near rock piles) and looking for certain things (fallen logs/stump holes), you can increase your chances of finding a snake.
