My work explores trance as a state of presence rather than escape.
This track is inspired by the whirling dervishes — men who dance while wearing wide white skirts, spinning continuously as a form of meditation.
They belong to the Sufi tradition of the Mevlevi, where the ritual dance called Sema is practiced.
The rotation is not performance: it is a way to dissolve the ego, to remain centered while everything moves.
I translate that physical and spiritual motion into sound.
The rhythm turns in circles.
The bass holds the body.
The voice becomes a mantra rather than a message.
This is not music built around climax or release.
It is built around continuity.
A track for entering a state,
for staying while moving,
for listening with the body.
