In this video, we fly over the areas of Montaña Colorada and Los Palacios, on the coast of Tazacorte, where lava flows once destroyed homes, roads, and banana plantations. Today, the landscape tells a different story — one of effort, resilience, and visible recovery.

You’ll see:

Banana farms almost back in production, growing green against the volcanic soil.

Newly planted crops, starting a new cycle of life.

Plots in the final stages of land leveling and preparation.

And others where earthworks (sorriba) have just begun, laying the foundation for new growth.

In diesem Video überfliegen wir die Gebiete Montaña Colorada und Los Palacios an der Küste von Tazacorte, wo einst Lavaströme Häuser, Straßen und Bananenplantagen zerstörten. Heute zeigt sich ein Landschaftsbild des Wandels – geprägt von harter Arbeit, Hoffnung und sichtbarem Fortschritt.

Bananenplantagen kurz vor der Ernte, grün und ordentlich aufbereitet.

Neu gepflanzte Felder, die gerade erst ihr Wachstum beginnen.

Und Flächen, in denen die Sorriba-Arbeiten (Geländeauffüllung) gerade erst beginnen.
