Stauffer Concerts: Franco Petracchi's students of 21/22 (Homage to Bottesini)

Описание: Every month the Stauffer Center for Strings welcomes international artists and experts of the music scene to present, as part of the programs of the Stauffer Academy and the Stauffer Labs, unique training courses for young talents and professionals.

Through a series of live streaming events, we connect our faculty and students together with the world to create opportunities for discussion and personal growth with the global artistic community and the audience around the world. We are looking forward to bring you inside the Stradivari Room of the Stauffer Center for Strings in Cremona!

On Wednesday, May 25th, the first concert to celebrate the end of the Academic Year 21/22 will begin. This series of concerts will be performed by the renowned Professors of the Accademia Stauffer and their students. The programmes range from Bottesini, Shostakovich, Schumann, Chausson and Brahms.

The concert on May 25h will be performed by M° Franco Petracchi's double bass class and dedicated to the great Cremasque double bassist Giovanni Bottesini. Furthermore, the concert will be an occasion for playing Bottesini in anticipation of the prestigious competition dedicated to him (Crema, 11 - 16 October 2022), in which our students will compete.
