WatchEDGE Dashboard from Itatel
WatchEDGE is developing an advanced edge-computing architecture that supports AI-based applications distributed across geographically dispersed sites. Each site (or "island")—interconnected via SD-WAN—is equipped with an edge-computing infrastructure that can be provided by fleets of flying drones (FANET), intelligent radars, and fixed or flying cameras.
The project—orchestrated to maximize data processing at the edge—works on an environmental surveillance use case for smart agriculture and wildlife protection, leveraging AI-based image processing.
