[COD Black Ops] Requiem on Demand

Описание: Sniper frag movie/montage for Call of Duty: Black Ops.

This is available DDL in full 1080p HD, and I recommend the direct download (links end of description) versions.

The movie's FOV, FX work and audio stereo imaging was all done with full screen playback in mind - Youtube's transcoding and generally low bitrate cap combined with the fact that this video has quite a bit more going on than the average vlog or Naruto episode means a lot of the finer details in both video and audio are lost, even at Youtube's 1080p 'HD'. (And Youtube is notoriously bad fullscreen)

Software:
Adobe After Effects CS4 for all video (sync's a bitch with only AE)
Cakewalk SONAR 8.5 Producer for all audio processing mixing and sound effects/foley work

Technical details:
Footage is Fraps at 24fps recording x (1/0.2) = 120fps footage
Final exports are 30fps 1080p (15.7Mbps h264), and 720p (9.8Mbps h264)
Audio encoded with AAC, 192kbps

I usually do movies at 50FPS, but I bent to the will of YT on this one, so 30FPS it is. Final video is as smooth as I could make it given that limitation and the fact that 120FPS is more or less the highest I can go in terms of footage capture for 1920x1080.

If I could do it all again, I'd probably record everything with no HUD and re-synthesize the elements I wanted (hitmarker/points/killfeed) but as it is, I don't have time, and some of the 'demos' are now flushed and unretrievable. :P

Theater mode's great, but some core features need to be addressed or looked at again.
