These Potato Cheese Balls are an easy to make appetizer which is crunchy from outside and gooey and cheesy from inside. We have tried a combination in our recipe. These deep-fried and addictive goodness balls have a delicious crispy crust due to the outer layering of breadcrumbs.
Cheese is an ingredient that is often used in Italian cuisine, but it is getting incorporated into Indian cuisine as well in recent times to create some delicious Indo fusion dishes, just like what we have intended to do here.
These can be ready to serve snacks for house parties, kitty parties or for your kids at home. You can always make extra batches of these and store in the fridge. You can even bake or air fry these delicious cheesy balls if you are looking for a healthy alternative.
POTATO CHEESE BALLS

INGREDIENTS:

-Potato
-Sweet corn
-Capsicum Onion
-Coriander leaves
-Bread crumbs
-Green Chilli
-Ginger-Garlic paste
-Cheese (Cheddar)
-Chilly flakes
-Pepper powder
-Garam masala
-Cornflour Maida

PREPARATION TIME: 20 minutes
COOKING TIME : 10 minutes


PREPARATION:

• In a bowl, add 3 medium mashed potatoes and ¾ cup of corn.
• Add ½ cup of chopped capsicum, ½ an chopped onion, 2tbsp of chopped coriander leaves, 2tbsp bread crumbs, 1 chopped green chilli, 1tbsp of ginger garlic paste and 3tbsp of grated cheddar cheese.
• With this, now add:
Chilli flakes – 1tsp,
pepper powder – ½ tsp,
garam masala- ½ tsp,
salt- ½ tsp.
• Combine well and further add:
In a bowl add, cornflour- 2tbsp,
Maida – 2tbsp,
chilli flakes- 1/3 tsp,
salt – 1 pinch,
water – ½ cup.
• Combine them well.
• Place cheese cubes inside and roll them up.
• Grease your hand with oil, take a ball of potato mixture.
• Dip these balls in maida slurry, then coat in bread crumbs.
• Now, deep fry these pieces in medium flame.
• Serve hot!
