And we have to make it very clear - this government does not represent the citizens of Israel. They were voted in a in a democratic (elections) but they were not chosen to do what they are doing and to destroy our country.”

STORYLINE:
Hundreds of protesters gathered in central Tel Aviv Saturday to protest against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government.

Protesters raised signs saying “only peace will bring security,” and “Bibi to prison” while calling for democracy democracy.

“The election campaign is near, very close. And it is the most important and crucial election campaign in the history of our country," former Northern Command Commander Amiram Levin said. "After it, there will once again be a country that can be loved. Or there will be no country here."

Outraged over the intensifying violence in the occupied West Bank against Palestinians, protester Paula Keusch said it is "supported by this government."

“And we have to make it very clear - this government does not represent the citizens of Israel. They were voted in a democratic (election) but they were not chosen to do what they are doing and to destroy our country,” said Keusch.
