The Ford Mustang for 1988 was largely a carryover from the groundbreaking previous model year in 1987. '87 brought a fresh facelift to the Mustang, including an all-new dashboard, revised door and seat trim, and center console. This Foxbody is powered by the famous 302 C.I. Windsor V8, featuring multiport electronic fuel injection. Power from the 5.0 gets to the Ford 9" rear end through a 3-speed automatic, making this car feel as if it constantly asking its driver to go faster, to push it farther. The black paint shines beautifully over this hatchback's straight bodylines and it has been buffed to a brilliant gleam. The interior cloth bucket seats are very comfortable and befitting of a Mustang, making this Foxbody not only a great performance car but a great cruiser as well.
