Since I still require The Black Swords Critical Rate bonus to achieve a good CRIT Rate threshold, it is currently the better weapon for my Kaeya. But even sporting a low Critical Rate with my current artifact build, the Prototype Rancour comes really close to The Black Sword in the DPS department. Once I get a better Critical Rate with my Kaeya (That currently is C0) I can see the Prototype Rancour surpassing The Black Sword DPS wise. Nevertheless, The Black Sword healing ability is really powerful to allow you to sustain yourself, specially in the Abyss. On the other hand, the Prototype Rancour is the easier weapon to refine.
