What a fun and strange week we had last week. Guests arrived before the Costa Rica travel ban due to the coronavirus. We were planning to cancel camps for the next couple months due to the growing pandemic. However, the Costa Rican government beat us to the punch and closed the borders to all new arrivals about halfway through the camp. This was a good move to help protect the country and limit the spread of the virus.
Needless to say, it was an interesting week with all of the news going on around us. Guests maintained a positive attitude with great waves and progression all week.
Like most of the world, things are very uncertain here in Nosara and with our business. We will be closed through the April 12th travel ban and likely longer as we anticipate the ban being extended.
