7-Day Alaskan Cruise | Norwegian Encore | Day 3 - Juneau, AK

Описание: This is Day 3 and our first port stop is at Juneau, AK.

It starts off with breakfast with friends at Taste. Everything there was pretty good and even got in a Bloody Mary. Also three of my friends found small rubber duckies while roaming around the cruise ship.

Afterwards I was able to film the private lounge for solo studios/staterooms. Pretty much everything is complimentary in that area with the exception of the Wine Station. Also in the lounge is where Norwegian forms a group of all solo travelers and they start doing activities together but since I was with friends most of the time I only got to partially partake in one meet up. It's a cool way to make new friends tho.

When finally getting off the ship it's a bit confusing on where to go because there's just busses everywhere and the lines to get on are long. My friends got tired of waiting so we decided to walk 1.1 miles into town.

The first excursion for us was taking the Goldbelt Tram. This is something I highly recommend because the of the views itself. The hiking trails behind wasn't too bad but make sure you have enough time to explore.

And then finally we worked up a big appetite and ate at The Hanger On The Wharf. Which I will say everything I ate was really good. Seems like you can't go wrong with anything you order over there. I ordered the clam chowder bowl, prime rib with mashed potato, gravy, and broccoli, and with a 1 pound of crab leg.

I originally had a reservation to a dinner place on the cruise ship but I had to cancel it. Since I wasn't going to make it back on time. So before getting on the boat we walked around the local gift shops.
