The good news is that a clear, natural finish is just about the best way to do it because it has wonderful natural color, it's dense, and accepts all types of finishes quite easily. But there are a few ways to elevate and improve that kind of a finish on Jatoba; most importantly by filling the grain. By filling the grain, you'll get a better finished surface and you'll add a bit of dimension to your project. This video demonstrates 3 ways to fill the grain before applying your clear finish of choice.
