1. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that the U.S. will impose 100% tariffs on Canadian imports if Canada finalizes a trade deal with China. And this follows the similar warning made by President Trump. What’s China’s comment?

China and Canada have established a new type of strategic partnership and made specific arrangements for properly resolving economic and trade issues between the two countries. This reflects the spirits of mutual respect, openness and inclusiveness, peaceful cooperation, and shared benefits and win-win outcomes. It is not directed at any third party, aligns with the common interests of both peoples, and is conducive to the world peace, stability and development and prosperity. 

2.The third stage of voting of Myanmar national election finished on 25 January and the entire election concluded. What’s China’s comment?

The election process proceeded in a steady and orderly manner. Voters actively participated in the vote. China extends its congratulations. For a long term, China has firmly adhered to the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence and doesn’t interfere in Myanmar’s internal affairs. As a friendly neighbor, we support all parties of Myanmar in achieving broader, more solid, and longer peace and reconciliation through general election, easing tensions as soon as possible, and jointly safeguarding political stability.

3. The Wall Street Journal reported that China's top general Zhang Youxia was accused of, among other things, giving nuclear secrets to the United States. I have a couple of questions on that matter. Can you confirm the accuracy of this Wall Street Journal report? Has China had any contact with the United States regarding the matter? Could these ongoing investigations in China's military have any impact on US-China military to military communications?
