Horton Tower is a tall, red-brick observation tower in Horton, Dorset, England. It was built in 1750 by Humphrey Sturt, a local landowner and MP, as a hunting lodge and astronomical observatory. The tower stands about 140 feet (43 meters) high and is a notable landmark in the area.
Designed in a Gothic style, it features multiple levels with large windows, though it is now in a state of disrepair and not open to the public. The tower was once used for watching horse races and even as a telegraph station during the Napoleonic Wars.
