Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey on Sunday declared a state of emergency and activated the National Guard and the State Emergency Operations Center ahead of an incoming blizzard.
Storm Team 10 forecast 18 to 28 inches of snow for Southern New England. Gusty winds could knock out power.
Healey said storm response was being coordinated across state agencies.
