Went to Albert Park Lake, in the city of Melbourne, for a fish on this beautiful lake....and had a great time.
The lake has been stocked with trout and some Australian native species. It provides a fantastic fishing opportunity right in the middle of Melbourne. The only challenge is the weed....and there's plenty of it.
I found a an area that didn't have weed and started casting to it. After a number of casts I had built up the spot with berley and the fish started coming in.
It wasn't easy to hook the fish and many of them swam into the weed and were lost but I managed to extract 6 and have a bit of fun doing it.
It was a great session.
