This is very good book. My favorite book of the year. Dan Jurgens is no stranger to writing Batman and Superman. What he does here in this issue is a combination of Golden Age nostalgia combined with pure awesomeness and respect for not only the characters but as well as the fans.

Mike Perkins art is very cinematic as it almost tricks you into believing you are watching and old noir film from the 1940s.
