Today we jump on the Amtrak Coast Starlight from Los Angeles California to Portland, Oregon.
This was one of the best Amtrak trips I have taken. it was sunny in southern California and I spent some time in my hometown of Redondo Beach/Torrance.
Then I boarded the Coast Starlight along the California coast and into the Cascade Range of Southern Oregon in the snow.

I think Amtrak is the best way to see the United States.
