The Punjab Police has made a significant breakthrough in national security by arresting Gagandeep Singh, a resident of Tarn Taran, for allegedly spying for Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Singh, who had been in touch with Pakistan-based Khalistani leader Gopal Singh Chawla, shared sensitive information about Indian Army movements during Operation Sindoor.
The police recovered a mobile phone containing intelligence shared with Pakistani Intelligence Operatives and details of over 20 ISI contacts. An FIR has been lodged under the Official Secrets Act, and further investigation is underway to uncover the full scope of the espionage network.
