Michael is a Ph.D. candidate in the Forest Ecosystem Dynamics Lab at the School of Environment, Washington State University. With a background in forestry, remote sensing, GIS and statistics, my research focuses on developing metrics (models, maps, data) that strongly inform conservation strategies.
